Hillsboro City Park features a splash park, tennis courts, baseball and soccer fields, and pavilions for gatherings.
Swings, slides, climbing and play structures, and ADA playground for children, sponsored by the Hillsboro Lion’s Club.
There is an outdoor stage with xylophone and drums, and seating area nearby. There is a story walk for children running through the library, updated regularly by the Hillsboro City Library.
During summer, the lights remain on until 10:00 pm. Hillsboro Recreation hosts movies in the park and special events throughout the year, and City Park is frequently the setting for community events, color runs and musical performances.
